In August, Grace Orlando launched one other campus location (Grace Edgewood), and in just two and a half short weeks we’ll be launching Grace Conway.

“It’s amazing to think about, but only eight years since starting Grace Orlando from scratch, we’re overseeing the start of two other congregations with live teaching and worship,” says Pastor Mike Adkins. “God continues to bless this church in ways I don’t expect.”

Originally planned as a video campus, Grace Conway will now be led with live teaching and worship from Conway’s own teams. Pastor Rick Garrett will teach the same topics that Pastor Mike teaches each week, and they’ll form a teaching team that will occasionally switch places between campuses.

“I am continually amazed by God’s faithfulness in meeting our needs and connecting new people and leaders to Grace Conway. Every week we see new faces, new leaders, and new people excited about Grace – each with their own unique story of how God connected them,” says Pastor Rick.

Here are just some of the ways that God has shown up in just the last few weeks as we prepare to launch Grace Conway:

• God has brought together a full staff of volunteers, each with experience in their ministry areas
• God has given us favor with the principal at Conway Elementary, who continually works to connect us with the school and community
• The team had the opportunity to minister to the teachers by providing desserts and receiving prayer requests from them on their first day of school
• The Conway team was able to connect with the families of Conway Elementary at the PTA sponsored “Meet Your Teacher” night. 
• We continually meet people in Conway who say “we’ve been praying for a community church in our neighborhood”

These three locations of Grace will be one church serving in a multi-campus way — not just multi-sites or overflow venues. “Each campus will have the strength of the larger organization behind it but the ability to adapt and reach unique communities in Orlando for Christ,” says Pastor Mike. “Multi-campuses will also give us the opportunity to develop more leaders in teaching, worship, and connections with a calling to serve Christ in ministry. ”

Pastor Rick is excited about launch day on September 11th: “For Christie and me, the September launch is the culmination of six years of prayer, work, preparation and faith. We are humbled that God saw fit to connect us with Grace and grateful to be launching the Conway campus.”
