To connect with the needs of our city and the diversity of our community, Grace worship and production teams have set a goal to volunteer once each month with a different organization. To fulfill this goal in the month of July, the team contacted the Coalition for the Homeless and asked the organization how they could help. The answer? Breakfast.

Twelve team members purchased ingredients, prepared the food and served breakfast to the residents of the Coalition this past Saturday morning. For most of them team, this was their first time serving at the Coalition, the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida.

“Serving at the center was definitely an eye-opening and humbling experience,” says Shanna Caudle, wife of worship team drummer Jay Caudle. “It was breakfast, but to them it was compassion from people who cared about them enough to get up early to cook and serve them a meal. I love that our church serves the community, even though those people may never see a Grace service.”
