Grace Edgewood launched in August 2011 at the chapel of Edgewood Ranch, a residential home for students in crisis. More than 180 of these teens and their parents worship together there each week, and this campus will serve these families first, expanding later to invite the surrounding community.
When does Grace Edgewood meet?
Grace Edgewood meets each Sunday at 3pm at the Chapel at Edgewood Ranch — with the exception of the first weekend of the month, when students are home with their families.
What do the services look like?
Pastors and band members from Grace leave after our Orlando and/or Conway services to lead these services at Edgewood with live teaching and worship. In the beginning, these worship experiences will serve the students at Edgewood, their parents and the house parents and teachers who live and work at the Ranch. Anyone who is interested in the Edgewood campus may also attend.
What are our long-term goals?
By the very nature of its core community, Grace Edgewood will be very different from our Orlando and Conway campuses. Our long-term goals for Grace Edgewood include
- Transitioning the campus to a Sunday morning service
- Helping students and families at the Ranch grow beyond being a community that is “ministered to” into a community that “ministers to others”
- Establishing a campus that not only serves the families at Edgewood Ranch but integrated with and invites the surrounding community
- Partnering with Edgewood for an even greater spiritual impact in the lives of families, building on the amazing work they already do
How can I be involved?
If you’re interested in working with disadvantaged communities, Grace Edgewood may be the place for you to lead and serve. Email Rick if you’re interested in the opportunities at Grace Edgewood.
